Tony is The Decency Group’s Membership Coordinator and assists clients in making their charitable giving and estate planning more strategic.

Tony’s passionate belief in our transformational message drew him to TDG and shines through in all that he does. As Tony said, in becoming a TDG Professional: Radical Decency’s values-based approach is one that I have practiced my entire life, but, until now, has lacked a clear and robust voice.

Reflecting this perspective, Tony offers his extensive financial planning experience, to clients, in his area of special interest: Creating charitable giving/estate planning strategies more fully in tune with our Radical Decency philosophy. And, as our Membership Coordinator, he offers inspiration and leadership in all aspects of our membership program.

If you're a member – or an interested, potential member – you will hear from Tony, inviting questions and conversation about The Decency Group and Radical Decency; describing our culturally ingrained habits of indecency and the many creative alternatives our values-based approach to living suggests.

Tony’s communication and relationship-building skills were developed through successful careers, first, as a commercial security systems consultant and, later, as a Registered Investment Advisor. His 20 years in the commercial security industry culminated, in 1999, with his recognition as the top producer for ADT’s National Accounts division. A year later, at the pinnacle of his sales career, he reinvented himself as a Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors and The Royal Bank of Canada, rising to Senior VP of Investments.

In 2014, understanding the many ways in which his business career was distracting him from life’s most fulfilling and important goals, he approached Jeff Garson, TDG’s founder, with the stated desire to devote his full-time energy to redirecting an off-course – indecent – human trajectory toward Radical Decency and its rewards.

Tony was educated at The William Penn Charter School, in Philadelphia, Pa., where a Quaker philosophy was pivotal in shaping his approach to life. He is also a graduate of Lake Forest College, where he majored in English and was elected to the College’s Hall of Fame for both football and baseball. In his capacity as a Financial Advisor, he is Series 7, 63, and 65 certified, and is licensed as an insurance agent.

Tony cites the privilege of being a father to two healthy and radically decent sons, Matthew and Jack, 15 and 13, as his greatest achievement.
